The initial step in the redesign process for the Merck Medical Supply logo involved a thorough understanding of the client’s requirements. The key objectives were to create a logo that exuded professionalism and cleanliness, aligning with the company’s existing image and values.

To ensure the redesign captured the essence of the medical supply industry, I did quite a bit of resewarch. This included an analysis of competitors’ logos, exploration of design trends within healthcare, and a deep dive into Merck’s brand identity and positioning.

Selecting a color palette that conveyed professionalism and cleanliness was a pivotal decision. Additionally, careful consideration was given to typography, selecting fonts that were readable and also complemented the overall aesthetic.

I selected a variety of mockups to showcase the adaptability of the redesigned Merck logo. The chosen logo for packaging prioritized simplicity, scalability, and color adaptability to ensure effectiveness on various materials. Each mockup was strategically chosen to provide a realistic and view of the logo’s application in different contexts. The packaging logo was decided based on its relevance to the medical supply industry, ensuring it conveyed trust and professionalism.
